Welcome to an Arugam Bay surf camp experience! Arugam Bay surf camp is a fun filled surf camp in the heart of Arugam Bay and by joining this surf camp, you will get surf lessons, massage, and all surf equipment required to make your surf camp enjoyable. Also, you will have a chance to taste the best smoothie bowls in town. Come over and enjoy the good vibes and the fun spirit of the surf team!
The camp is based in Arugam Bay and has an array of quality surf spots for all levels. Starting from sunrise, you have perfect, glassy conditions for surfing with the wind picking up between 12:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., ideal for kite and wind surfers. Arugam Bay also has famous surf points, which hosted various international competitions. The best season for surfing runs from March to October.

This surf camp will be held in Arugam Bay in Sri Lanka. Arugam Bay is a famous surf village on the east coast of exotic Ceylon. There are more than seven different surf spots, which makes this place so attractive for waves-catchers from all over the world. The landscape and nature are incredible, be ready to meet wild elephants on your way to the spot. Cultural and historic places of interests, safari, and all-night parties by the beach are waiting for you in Arugam Bay!
Our surf camp is equipped for you! We keep the surf camp stocked with shortboards, longboards, single fins, twin fins, and of course a variety of soft boards and longer hard boards available to rent. Beginner + intermediate and advanced standards and can be rented for a half-day, full-day, or Long-term. Prices start as low as $5 USD / Half-day and are dependent on which board you are renting. All rentals are inspected by both staff and customers before you head out for your surf. We’ll both check for dings, number of fins, fin security, and new leash and new wax so you’re free from liability for prior damage. Fresh wax Will be applied before each surf. Surf on, my friends. Arugam bay borders the indian ocean. Arugam bay is an 8-hour drive from bandaranaike international airport near colombo and is a 6-hour drive from the south of Sri Lanka, where Many travelers visit on their way to arugam bay. There are 9 incredible surf points located within walking distance or just a short drive away from arugam bay that can accommodate any surf level. Star rest surf camp experienced surf instructors Will be there to guide you through two hours of surf lessons per day.
